Reports of Kartik Aaryan being in talks for the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's blockbuster Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo did the rounds. While the makers are yet to confirm the same, reports indicate that the actor has come on board. Renowned film journalist Rahul Raut confirmed the news on his Twitter account and informed the yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and Allu Aravind, who bankrolled the original one too. It is reported that Varun Dhawan's director brother Rohit Dhawan will be directing the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's blockbuster film. It is said to go on floors in February 2021.

Reportedly, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi remake was to be produced by Ashvin Varde and now, it is said that the producer no longer holds the remake rights.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo also starred Pooja Hegde, Tabu and Nivetha Pethuraj in lead roles. the Trivikram directorial released on January 12 this year. The film revolves around Bantu, a middle-class person who is often neglected by his father. Little does Bantu know that he is the son of a businessman. An incident draws Bantu closer to reality and on learning the truth, he decides to meet his real parents and confronts those who threaten his family.
