The daughter of television actress Shweta Tiwari, Palak Tiwari, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Vivek Oberoi's film. Titled Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, the film is Vivek's second production venture after Iti that marks the debut of Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen. The horror-thriller is directed by Vishal Mishra and produced in association with Mandiira Entertainment.
Palak, on Instagram, shared the first poster of Rosie: The Saffron Chapter and wrote, "Super excited to share the news of my debut in & as #Rosie! And here's my first poster!"
Talking about Palak's acting career, Shweta in an interview previously, said that she wanted to complete her education before starting a career as an actress. She’s waiting for a right project to come. She also wants to finish her studies first. She doesn’t want to hop into her career without proper education. She wants to take a degree and then start working. What she keeps saying is ‘When people come to interview me, I want to sound like Amitabh Bachchanji and Shah Rukh Khan, larger than life. I want to be well-read, I want to sound educated," Shweta told.
Based on true events in Gurugram, Rosie: The Saffron Chapter revolves around a young girl who is an employee at Saffron BPO, touted to be one of the haunted places in the region. The film is expected to go on floors in November 2020.
