Rajeev Sen's and wife Charu Asopa's marriage reportedly hit the rock bottom after rumours of their separation went viral. Looks like a year after their wedding, now their relationship has hit a rough patch. Reports suggesting their problematic relationship went viral after Charu recently dropped Rajeev's surname. Adding to the rumours, the two deleted all their wedding photos from social media. Later, the couple gave interviews confirming their troubled marriage and said they are not living together at the moment.
Surprisingly, now Charu has shared a few pictures on her Instagram account where she can be seen celebrating Kajri Teej and dressed up in a Bengali style saree. The actress mentioned in her post that she will be fasting today (August 6). Teej is a festival celebrated by married women in India. Charu wrote, "Sinjhara celebration for kajri teej. Ready for teej fast tomorrow. Happy sinjhara to all the beautiful ladies ..."
Charu had recently talked about her married life in an interview with a leading daily and said, “I don’t wish to comment on that. If my marriage is destined to get better, it will. I have left it to God. If there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am sure I will see it someday.”
When asked if it is important to spend more time getting to know each other before tying the knot and she replied, “I don’t know, as I am not an expert on the subject. However, I don’t think that it is true. Long or short courtship period is not the deciding factor for a happy marriage.”
