On Friday night, an Air India Express plane crashed at the Calicut airport in Kerala. The plane, which was carrying 191 passengers, skidded off the runway after landing and broke into two pieces. At least 20 people were killed, including the two pilots, and more than 100 injured when the Air India Express passenger plane repatriating Indians stranded by the Coronavirus pandemic from Dubai overshot the runway in heavy rain.
After hearing about the sad incident, several celebrities posted condolence messages for the families of the deceased and the injured passengers. Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shabana Azmi, Arbaaz Khan, Anupam Kher, Aditi Rao Hydari, Farhan Akhtar, Raveena Tandon, Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani and Vivek Oberoi expressed their grief amid the unfolding tragedy.
