Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Saturday evening after complaints of chest discomfort. He had fluctuating oxygen saturation level. He was tested for Covid-19 through rapid antigen test, which came negative. However, a swab has also been taken for confirmatory RT-PCR test.
Doctors treating him said he has been admitted in the non-Covid ICU ward but remains stable. However, a few more tests are being conducted by doctors to determine his health. An ECG is also being done. “He is stable,” said hospital’s chief operating officer Dr V Ravishankar. Sanjay also took to Twitter to reassure his fans about his health.
Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings

Sanjay’s treating doctor, Dr. Jalil Parkar, who himself recovered from Covid-19 last month, said that a few more tests are being conducted to assess the actor’s medical parameters and to ascertain why his oxygen level dipped.
