Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar seems to be the new IT girl of Bollywood. The 23-year-old girl from Haryana will be making her debut as Akshay Kumar's ladylove in the historical drama Prithviraj. While the shoot of the film is stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it appears Manushi has signed her second outing too. As per a leading daily's report, she will be paired opposite Vicky Kaushal in Yash Raj Films' comedy film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (of Dhoom 3 fame). A source close to the development told the daily that Aditya Chopra, the head honcho of YRF loved Manushi's audition for Prithviraj (again a YRF venture) and thought her pairing with Vicky will grab the attention of fans.
"Manushi had been zeroed in on for Prithviraj last year after she delivered a fantastic audition. It was the same audition tape that helped her bag this film, which is likely to be helmed by Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya. The decision to bring Manushi on board was taken last week as head honcho Aditya Chopra was confident that her pairing with Vicky will grab eyeballs," the source told.

Reportedly, the yet-to-be-titled film will be announced on late Yash Chopra's birth anniversary that is September 27, 2020. It is said to be a part of YRF's Project 50 marks the golden jubilee of the production house.
