After four months of being self-quarantined at his Panvel farmhouse, Salman Khan recently returned to Mumbai. However, the actor who is currently shooting for his upcoming controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14 was on the radar of a sharpshooter. According to reports, a sharpshooter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was recently arrested by the Faridabad Police in connection to a resident’s murder on June 24. The name of the accused is Rahul Sanga.
During the interrogation, the police discovered that the Faridabad resident was not Rahul’s sole target but apparently, Salman was his next hit. He had already done a recce of the actor’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra and had his full strategy in place to kill him. He had done the recce in January this year and had stayed in the vicinity of the actor’s residence for two days.
Rajesh Duggal, DCP (Headquarters) told a portal, “Rahul conducted this recce at the behest of Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra, another member of the gang, who had also conducted a recce to plan for the same crime before he was arrested in June 2018. He conducted the recce on the directions of Bishnoi and later apprised him of the findings. However, they were unable to take their plan to the next stage because of the coronavirus outbreak."
On being quizzed about more details, Duggal said, "Between 2016 and 2018, he was working at the ESIC Hospital in Faridabad on a temporary basis. In 2018, he was arrested by the Crime Branch Badkhal for possession of an illegal weapon. After being released on bail, he joined the Bishnoi gang in August 2019. He would commit different crimes with different accomplices on the directions of Lawrence Bishnoi. In the last six months alone, he committed four murders." Rahul was reportedly arrested in Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand on August 15, 2020.
Lawrence Bishnoi is a member of the Bishnoi community that revers blackbucks. Reportedly, the fact that Salman was embroiled in killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur in 1998 has led to Bishnoi nursing a grudge against him. Salman has been sentenced to five-years imprisonment in the black buck poaching case but is out on bail.
