After a delay due to Coronavirus pandemic, Shakun Batra has reportedly started work on his relationship drama with Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead. The film was to go on floors in March. While it was reported that the film's first schedule will be in Sri Lanka. However, in the latest development, it seems Shakun is considering Goa as the first shoot location. A source close to the film told a leading daily that the director along with Deepika, Siddhant and Ananya will fly down to Goa in the second week of September. It is being said that the team has started working on the pre-production and are ensuring that safety guidelines are followed.
"The makers are planning to shoot the first leg in Goa over a 25-day schedule. Deepika, Siddhant, Ananya and the rest of the cast will fly down to the beach state in the second week of September to kick off the proceedings. The unit has begun working on the pre-production and will ensure that safety guidelines are followed," the source told.
Speaking of the yet-to-be-titled film, Deepika is reportedly paired opposite Siddhant while a male actor paired with Ananya is yet to be announced. The film reportedly orbits around two couples. The team, before the lockdown, had script reading sessions in the city and were excited to take the film on floors. The relationship drama is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Production. The initial release date was February 12, 2021, however, a change in date is yet to be confirmed.
