Dilip Kumar's second brother Ehsan Khan breathes his last at 90 due to COVID

Dilip Kumar's family is bereaved. The nonagenarian, who lost his brother Aslam Khan on August 21 to Coronavirus, got yet another shocking news of the passing away of his other brother Ehsan Khan on Wednesday. Ehsan, 90, breathed his last at the Lilavati Hospital. Both Ehsan and Aslam were admitted to the hospital on August 15 with low oxygen levels.

Ehsan Khan, as per reports, had been suffering from heart ailments, hypertension and Alzheimer's disease. After a long battle against COVID-19, he breathed his last at 11:13 pm on Wednesday. Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital was overlooking their medical condition. A member from Dilip Kumar's team, on his Twitter, confirmed the news of his brothers' demise. The statement read, "Dilip Saab’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan, passed away few hours ago. Earlier, youngest brother, Aslam had passed away. We are from God and to Him we return. Pls pray for them."

Ehsan was 90 years old while Aslam was 88. After complaints of breathlessness, Aslam and Ehsan, on August 15, were immediately taken to the Lilavati Hospital where they were tested positive for Coronavirus post a rapid antigen test was done. They were admitted to the COVID ward. Their oxygen saturation had reportedly dropped below 80% when they were admitted. The brothers were on a non-invasive ventilator.
