Janhvi Kapoor, after making her debut in Bollywood with Dhadak in 2018, is reportedly considering to follow her mother, late Sridevi's footsteps into Tollywood. Rumours are rife that the 23-year-old is looking into scripts that make for a perfect Telugu debut. While Janhvi is yet to confirm the buzz, report of an entertainment portal has it that she will be venturing into Telugu cinema with a film co-starring Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka Jr. NTR. According to a source close to the development, Trivikram, the director is considering initiating a discussion with Janhvi. He is currently working on the script.
"Trivikram wants to have a fresh onscreen pairing for NTR and is contemplating initiating a dialogue with Janhvi Kapoor. Currently, he is giving final touches to the script and if everything works out, he will take things forward," the source told.
Reportedly, the tentative title of the film is Ayinanu Poyi Ravale Hastinaku. The film is bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine Creations banner.
Workwise, Janhvi's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl released on Netflix on August 12 and was widely appreciated by critics across the world. The audience loved watching her play the role of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in the Sharan Sharma directorial. She will be seen in films like Roohi Afzana, Dostana 2 and Takht. Reportedly, Janhvi is collaborating with her producer father for a film titled Bombay Girl.
