Renowned film producer Johny Bakshi passed away late last night (September 4), The veteran producer is known for films like Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain, Vishwashgat, Raavan and Mera Dost Mera Dushma. Johny worked with several noted filmmakers and actors in his career. 

His most popular work was Raavan (1984), Kajraare (2010) and Bhairavi (1996). His son Brando Bakshi is a Bollywood actor. Johny was close friends with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. In 2016, Mahesh had shared a photo with him and written, "It takes a long time to grow old friends. So happy to meet Asgar Ali & Johny Bakshi.This is the best gift I received."
