Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan sent their fans into a zone of excitement by announcing that they are expecting an addition to their family. Now, as Kareena is gearing up to wrap professional commitments before going on a maternity break, she, during an interview with an entertainment portal, spoke about starting a family with Saif and spending time with Taimur. She further mentioned how being a mother has changed her professional priorities and admitted that she can't dedicate long hours to shoot as she has other responsibilities too. Stating that she is a proud homemaker, Kareena said she is someone who loves to host dinner parties and travel with her family. In the interview, Kareena went on to gush about her Good Newwz co-star Akshay Kumar and appreciated the way he encourages his co-actors to balance work and family life. 

Recalling the time when she worked with him on Good Newwz, the actress said, "We were shooting for 7 hours and I would be home, to my kid, my 3 pm. Akshay was very focused and managed the shoot time unbelievably. I want more Akshay Kumars in the industry so that 40-year-old mothers like us would totally be in heaven."

Calling him the biggest superstar in the country who is giving back-to-back blockbusters without compromising on family time, Kareena said, "He comes on sets at 7 am in the morning and goes home at 2 pm in the afternoon and is giving the biggest blockbusters. He is the biggest star ever seen in the last 30-40 years since Mr. Amitabh Bachchan."
