After six months delay due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Deepika Padukone is finally gearing up to start work on Shakun Batra's relationship drama. Reportedly, the film that belongs to the rather new genre called 'domestic noir', will go on floors in Goa soon. Ahead of it, Deepika visited a salon to get herself a new look for the project that co-stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
In a video that went viral, we can see Deepika wearing a mask while giving a sneak-peek into her new look. The boomerang showcases the new haircut that she will be sporting in the yet-to-be-titled film. As per reports, Deepika will wrap up all her prior commitments before travelling to Goa. She will be dedicating time to brand commitments that were on a halt due to the pandemic and lockdown.
Reportedly, the shoot of the yet-to-be-titled relationship drama was to start in Sri Lanka in November. However, due to the current situation, the makers reportedly decided to head to Goa. It isn't clear whether the Sri Lanka schedule is still a part of the plan.
In the yet-to-be-titled film, Deepika is reportedly paired opposite Siddhant while a male actor paired with Ananya is yet to be announced. The film reportedly orbits around two couples. The team, before the lockdown, had script reading sessions in the city. The relationship drama is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Production.
