Arunoday Singh, in May 2019, announced that his wife Lee Elton and he have decided to part ways. Now, a year later, Lee, who moved to Canada after the separation, has reportedly challenged the Bhopal family court order that granted the couple divorce in Jabalpur High Court. The Bhopal family court granted their divorce in December 2019.
As per reports, more than a year later, Lee has reportedly demanded the cancellation of the decree of divorce. A leading publication's report has it that Lee has filed a petition in the Jabalpur High Court. In her plea, she has reportedly claimed that Arunoday was granted a divorce after a unilateral hearing. Jabalpur High Court, in response to the petition, has reportedly asked for the records of the family court that granted divorce to Arunoday and Lee. The next hearing is said to be held on October 6.
As per reports, Arunoday and Lee's relationship hit the rock surface due to their dogs. The actor, in May 2019, on Instagram, issued a statement on his separation and wrote, "My marriage seems to be over. Turns out we were very good at love, but couldn't survive the reality. Despite our best efforts, professional counseling and current trial separation, nothing seems to have helped bridge the fundamental differences that have emerged between us. It seems wiser to let go. I think we both deserve better. We shall try to resolve this with compassion and dignity."
Arunoday and Lee got married in December 2016 in Bhopal.
