Legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar landed himself in troubled waters during the last night's IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab in Dubai. The cricketer, seated in the commentary box, made a distasteful comment against RCB captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma. Virat, who is one of the best players when it comes to chases, had a rather forgettable outing with just a run off five balls. Virat, having dropped two catches of Kings XI Punjab's captain KL Rahul, gave the latter a chance to score a massive 132 off 69 balls.
Seated in the commentary box, Gavaskar made a nasty remake against Anushka, who is pregnant with her first child with Virat. The comment didn't go down well with social media users who requested BCCI to rusticate him from the commentary panel. Anushka, in the past, has been at the receiving end for her cricketer husband's poor performance on the field.

However, trolling Anushka and Virat further, the sexist naysayers with no productive work to do, made a distasteful attempt to bully the pregnant actress. Some even went on to joke about her pregnancy and how Virat won't deliver till she does.

Virat, in the past, lashed out at trolls slamming Anushka for his failure. He said, "Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity."
