Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined Prajakta Koli, Chris Hemsworth, Jane Fonda, Mark Ruffalo and Jaden Smith to address the issue of climate change. The actress joined the event at the virtual Countdown Global Launch, which aimed to mobilise people to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. It was held on October 10. The event lineup also included Don Cheadle, Al Gore, Xiye Bastida, Hannah Stocking, and Prince William.
As PeeCee hosted the Countdown session, she gave a big shoutout to India and said she misses home. In a viral video, she is seen saying, "I wanna give a big shoutout to everyone watching in India. Ghar ki bahot yaad aati hai. (I miss home a lot)."

In another video, Priyanka and Chris are seen acknowledging each other as they co-hosted the event. While Chris told her, "Priyanka, it's just a pleasure to share this stage with you," PeeCee said, "Such a privilege to be invited to co-host this session and to do it with you Chris, absolutely the best."
