Satyameva Jayate 2 goes on floors with John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar; Vidya Balan resumes Sherni shoot in Madhya Pradesh


After a long delay due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the shoot of John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar's Satyameva Jayate 2 started today in Lucknow. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film was to roll in April this year but the plan got disrupted due to the lockdown. The action-thriller was initially scheduled to release on October 2, 2020, but now, it will release on May 12, 2021, that is Eid.

John was seen in a white kurta and Nehru jacket.

On the other hand, Vidya Balan resumed the shoot of her upcoming film Sherni in Madhya Pradesh. Directed by Amit Masurkar, Sherni explores the man-animal conflict. Vidya will be seen playing the role of a forest officer. The film is being shot in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh.
