Shraddha Kapoor woke Bollywood up with an exciting news. The pretty actress confirmed that she has signed Nikhil Dwivedi-produced trilogy based on Icchadhari Nagin. The supernatural-mythological genre trilogy will be directed by Vishal Furia who directed the critically acclaimed 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi. Soon after the news broke out, fans of Shraddha couldn't keep calm and are super excited to watch the actress slither into the role of a shape-shifting serpent for the first time.

Shraddha, confirming the news of leading Nikhil's Nagin trilogy, tweeted, "It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. The icchadhari nagin franchise is said to be a love story. Heavy on VFX and special effects, Nikhil is planning to set a different standard for mythic-dramas and is designing the film on an international scale. The first part of the trilogy will reportedly go on floors next year.
