Akshay Kumar, the name is enough! Khiladi Kumar’s Bollywood choices are as diverse as the various charities and small ventures he champions. If he made films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, PadMan and Laxmmi Bomb (on transgender issues), then Akshay has gone beyond standing up for women by also promoting games and healthcare through GOQii and FAU:G.
In keeping with the Prime Minister’s Atma Nirbhar Movement, the actor mentored the Multiplayer Action Game FAU:G based on scenarios faced by Indian security forces while dealing with domestic and foreign threats. Twenty percent of its net proceeds go to ‘Bharat Ke Veer Trust’ supporting families of soldiers martyred in action. A Bengaluru gaming publisher will launch Fearless and United: Guards (FAU:G) Akshay said in September, hours after the popular Chinese gaming app PUBG was banned.
