Sidharth Malhotra is currently on a film signing spree. The actor who is waiting for the release of his upcoming war film Shershaah has been signing back-to-back films in the action genre. While Sidharth has signed the Hindi remake of the Tamil-language action thriller Thadam, rumour has it that a remake of Allu Arjun's DJ and an espionage thriller with Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP is in his lineup. Now, Sidharth has reportedly signed yet another film.
According to Rahul Raut, a Hindi film journalist, Sidharth has locked a project based on a true event. Reportedly, the film will be directed by ad filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Amar Butala. "Sidharth Malhotra locks his next... It's a film based on a true event, directed by ad filmmaker Shantanu Baghchi and produced by @amarbutala... Further details awaited!!" Rahul tweeted.

Workwise, Sidharth is yet to begin shooting for Thadam remake. His upcoming film Shershaah features him with his rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani. The film was to release in July this year but got delayed due to the lockdown. The new release date is yet to be announced.
On the other hand, there is no official confirmation about the actor signing the remake of Allu Arjun's DJ and the espionage thriller with Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP.
