On November 9, 2007, Bollywood welcomed new talented youngsters into the world of cinema. One of Indian cinema's most popular actors Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja were launched with a bang. While Deepika starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, Ranbir-Sonam made their debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya.
Today, as Deepika completed 13 years in the industry, she changed her Twitter and Instagram profile names to Shantipriya, the character she played in Om Shanti Om. Not just this, Deepika celebrated the day by changing her profile picture to a still from the blockbuster. Om Shanti Om also marked the beginning of Deepika-Shah Rukh's professional association. The film that also starred Kirron Kher, Arjun Rampal and Shreyas Talpade was Farah's second directorial. Deepika went on to star in blockbusters like Cocktail, Bajirao Mastani, Piku, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Padmaavat and many more. Workwise, Deepika will be next seen in Shakun Batra's untitled film, alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.

Speaking of Sonam, the actress and a fashion queen has come a long way and successfully established herself as a popular star in Bollywood. Over the years, Sonam has delivered several commercially successful films. After a series of commercial films, Neerja proved to be a turning point in Sonam's career. The Ram Madhvani directorial earned her Filmfare Award in the Best Actress (Critics), Lokmat Maharashtra Awards for Best Actress and National Film Award. Breaking stereotypes, Sonam did films like Aisha, Raanjhanaa, Khoobsurat, Pad Man, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and many more. A regular at the Cannes Film Festival, Sonam also launched her own clothing label Rheson in collaboration with her sister and stylist Rhea Kapoor in 2017. Humanitarian and philanthropist, she has also been a supporter of various social causes and charities. In addition to this, Sonam has even publically rallied for LGBTQ rights.
