On September 16, 2020, PeepingMoon exclusively informed its readers that Tiger Shroff and director Vikas Bahl are uniting for an action-thriller. Titled Ganapath, the actor officially announced the film with a motion poster on November 5. Hailed as the youngest action star of the current generation, Tiger sent his fans into a zone of excitement. While the rest of the cast is yet to announced by the makers, rumour has it that Kriti Sanon's younger sister Nupur Sanon will be making her Bollywood debut with Ganapath.
According to an entertainment portal's report, Nupur will be playing the first lead opposite Tiger, who will be playing the role of a boxer. On the other hand, it is believed that Nora Fatehi has been roped in as the second female lead. A source close to the development told the portal, "Nora has been dropping by the Pooja Entertainment office off late and this has not gone unnoticed by the media. However, contrary to reports of her doing an item number in Bellbottom, Nora has in fact been signed for a full length feature film. The film in question is Ganapath, and she will be seen playing the second female lead opposite Tiger, while Nupur Sanon has been signed to play the first female lead."
Nupur, a singer, featured opposite Akshay Kumar in a music video titled Filhall. Rumour had it that she was roped in for Akshay's spy thriller Bell Bottom. However, PeepingMoon, on January 29, 2020, exclusively informed the readers that the rumour was untrue. It was later announced that Vaani Kapoor is the female lead.
On the other hand, Nora was last seen in Street Dancer 3D. She appeared in the recently released music video Naach Meri Rani with Guru Randhawa.
