Renowned Bollywood actor Asif Basra was found hanging at a private complex in Dharamshala today. The actor was 53 years old. According to reports, Asif used his pet dog's belt to hang himself. He was reportedly found dead in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh near a cafe on Jogibada Road in McLeodganj.
According to sources, Asif went missing on Wednesday night after he stepped out with his dog at 10.30 pm. His dog is yet to be traced by the Himachal Pradesh police. SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan is investigating the case. According to reports, Asif's live-in partner has been detained by the police. She is said to be a foreign national.

Asif was seen in Disney+ Hotstar series Hostages and also starred as the senior executive in a media house in Amazon Prime’s Paatal Lok. The renowned actor featured in films like Jab We Met, Kai Po Che, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Krrish 3, Ek Villain, The Tashkent Files and many others.
