Ranveer Singh has started work on Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. The shooting of the film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez and Murli Sharma, kickstarted at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios on Monday. The actors were spotted at the studio shooting their scenes. However, Jacqueline was missing from the scene as she is currently in Dharamshala shooting for Bhoot Police.
Ranveer and Rohit started work on the comedy film very quietly without calling for too much attentions as the latter wants to finish shoot by February end. A few portions of the film will be shot in Goa and Ooty at a later date.

Cirkus is Rohit’s take on Comedy of Errors and also stars Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett and Ashwini Kalsekar.
The film is scheduled for a mid-2021 release.
