Earlier this year, Sana Khan made headlines for her decision to quit showbiz on religious grounds. Now, the former actress has married Mufti Anas in Surat on Saturday. According to reports, Sana was introduced to the Muslim cleric by Bigg Boss 7 contestant Ajaz Khan. Confirming her marriage, Sana shared a picture with her husband Mufti Anas on Instagram.
Sana, sharing the picture, wrote, "Loved each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this Duniya. And reunite us in jannah ♥ Fabi ayyi ala-e rabbekumaa tokazzebaan. Which of the favours of your lord will u deny ♥" In the picture, Sana looks like a royal bride in red. She teamed up her heavy bridal lehenga with stunning jewellery. Anas is in white.
On Saturday, videos of Sana and Anas did the rounds. The two were dressed in white for the intimate wedding ceremony in Surat.
On October 8, Sana shared an elaborate note on Instagram announcing her decision to quit showbiz. A part of the long note read, "When I searched for the answer to this question in my religion, I realized that this life in the world is actually for the betterment of life-after death. And it will be better if the slave lives according to the command of his Creator, and does not make wealth and fame his only goal; rather he/she should avoid sinful life and serve humanity, and follow the path shown by his/her Creator. Therefore, I declare today that from today onwards, I have resolved to say goodbye to my Showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator."
Sana did films like Jai Ho, Wajah Tum Ho including web series like Special Ops. She participated in Bigg Boss 6.
