Rumours of Prabhudeva marrying his physiotherapist in a secret ceremony did the rounds. While the choreographer-producer is yet to come out in the open about his second marriage, his elder brother Raju Sundaram confirmed the news to a leading daily. According to the daily's report, Prabhudeva fell in love with Dr. Himani, a Mumbai-based physiotherapist, while undergoing treatment for his back and legs. 

Prabhudeva's elder brother told the daily, "We are very happy about Prabhudheva's marriage." As per the report, the wedding took place in May in Chennai at the choreographer-producer's residence. It was a low-key one as not many could attend the ceremony due to the lockdown. It is said that Prabhudeva was in a live-in relationship with Dr. Himani for 2 months before tying the knot. Dr. Himani, according to reports, has met her in-laws once twice in Mysuru. The couple recently paid them a visit. They had reportedly gone to meet them and seek their blessings in July/August.

A while ago, rumours of Prabhudeva planning to marry his niece did the rounds. He was formerly married to Ramlatha from 1995 to 2011. The couple's elder son passed away after battling cancer in 2008. In 2010, Prabhudeva's relationship with actress Nayanthara was the talk of the town. After many controversies, they parted ways in 2012.
