On November 21, Sana Khan got married to Surat based Mufti Anas. The former actress, who quit showbiz in the month of October, shared the news on Instagram with a picture with Mufti.
Now, Sana has changed her name on Instagram. She has shared her new name on social media as Saiyed Sana Khan. Reportedly, Sana was introduced to Mufti by Bigg Boss 7 contestant Ajaz Khan.

Sana also shared more images from her wedding on her stories. In the photos, Sana is seen wearing her red wedding lehenga. Announcing her wedding, Sana had written, "Loved each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this Duniya. And reunite us in jannah ♥ Fabi ayyi ala-e rabbekumaa tokazzebaan. Which of the favours of your lord will u deny ♥"

While quitting showbiz, Sana penned a prolonged note which read as "I am at an important juncture in my life. For years, I have been living the Showbiz (Film Industry) life, and during this time I have been blessed with all kinds of fame, honour and wealth from my fans for which I am grateful to them. But, for the last few days, a thought has kept me occupied. I have been wondering, does one take birth only to earn wealth and fame for oneself? Isn't it a moral responsibility of humans to serve or support those who are helpless or needy? Shouldn't people think about what will happen to them in the after-life since one can die at any given time?"
