While Alaya is yet to announce her next film, she is making the internet go wow with her yoga videos, doodles and stunning social media pictures. Alaya, who stayed at home during the lockdown, jetted off to Dubai in October when restrictions were eased. She suddenly made headlines for attending her friend Aaishvary Thackeray's birthday party. Aaishvary is the grandson of late Balasaheb Thackeray and the youngest son of actress Smita Thackeray and Jaidev Thackeray.
Since then rumours of them dating each other did the rounds. Alaya, who celebrated her 23rd birthday in Alibaug on November 28, dismissed the buzz is false. Talking to a leading daily, the Jawaani Jaaneman actress said that Aaishvary is just a close family friend. "I didn’t go to Dubai for Aaishvary’s birthday, we just happened to be at the same place at the same time. He is a close family friend; our grandparents are friends and our moms also know each other. That’s it!" Alaya told.
On her birthday, Alaya shared a picture of herself in a silver bikini. "Feeling blessed, grateful and super happy! Thank you for all the love and all the wonderful birthday wishes! ♥ Thank you for the beautiful decor @partynextdoor.events," she wrote.
