Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy suffered a brain stroke while shooting for his upcoming film LAC- Live The Battle in Kargil. The actor was immediately brought to Mumbai and is currently undergoing treatment at Nanavati hospital. Now, as per the latest reports, the Bigg Boss 1 winner is out from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Rahul's brother-in-law Romeer Sen told a leading daily that the actor has been shifted to a normal room. He informed that the doctors have started Rahul's speech and physiotherapy. He said, "Rahul is now out of danger." Romeer, who is married to Rahul's sister Priyanka, is by the actor's side since the beginning.
Yesterday, the leading daily reported that Rahul was showing symptoms of Aphasia- a condition where one can't frame sentences properly. It was also stated that the doctors were discussing a surgical procedure of stenting, but they decided to cancel it as Rahul started responding to medicines and his vital parameters are within the normal range. The report further mentioned that the right hemisphere of Rahul's face is affected due to the stroke and his right arm has become a little weak. Reportedly, his recovery is moving at a slow pace.
