After much wait, Abir Sengupta's Indoo Ki Jawani is releasing in theatres amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Starring Kiara Advani, Aditya Seal and Mallika Dua, the film revolves around Indoo, a young girl from Ghaziabad who finds a partner on a dating app. Now, as the release of the film is a week away, the makers dropped in its third song. Titled Dil Tera, Kiara and Aditya add a punch of retro flavour.
In Dil Tera, Kiara and Aditya pay an ode to iconic Bollywood characters. From Sharmila Tagore in Kashmir Ki Kali (1964), Parveen Babi in Namak Halal (1982) and Urmila Matondkar in Rangeela (1995), Kiara and Aditya move from one decade to the next. Dil Tera is sung by Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan. Rochak Kohli has composed the music while Gurpreet Saini and Gautam G Sharma are the lyricists.
Indoo Ki Jawani is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment) & Niranjan Iyengar, Ryan Stephens (Electric Apples Entertainment), is slated to release in the theatres on December 11, 2020.
