Diljit Dosanjh is winning hearts for the right reason. The Punjabi actor-singer is actively supporting the farmers and social activists protesting against the three new agricultural bills. Diljit, on Saturday, joined the farmers at the Singhu border and addressed them. Calling Diljit 'son of the soil', fans and Punjabi film industry celebrities can't stop lauding him for his efforts. 

Now, as Diljit is basking in praise for his tweets in support of the farmers, Punjabi singer Singga, on his Instagram stories, revealed that the Good Newwz star has donated Rs. 1 crore to buy warm clothes for farmers. Diljit made his contribution secretly. Singga thanked him for his constant support and help. "Thank you brother, you gave Rs 1 crore for the farmers, for their warm clothes, and nobody knows. You didn’t post about it. Nowadays people can’t shut up after donating Rs 10," Singga said in a video.

On Saturday, Diljit interacted with the farmers at the Singhu border and said, "Hats off to all of you, farmers have created a new history. This history would be narrated to future generations. Farmers' issues shouldn't be diverted by anyone." He further added, "Hindi mein bhi bol raha hun, taaki Google na karna pade. Main National media se request karta hun ki jo ho raha hai wahi dikhayein. Sab peacefully baithe hain aur inki demands suni jaayein."
