Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta test negative for COVID, Jug Jugg Jeeyo shoot to resume this week?

Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta had tested positive for Coronavirus a few days ago while shooting for their upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The shoot in Chandigarh came to a standstill and reportedly Neetu returned to Mumbai via air ambulance. On December 11, she tested negative for the novel COVID-19. Now, according to the latest reports, Varun and Raj, who were isolated in Chandigarh itself, have also tested negative. Reportedly, Varun, Neetu and Raj were showing mild symptoms with a slight cough. 

A source close to Jug Jugg Jeeyo told a leading daily that the team is all set to resume shoot after a forced break. It is being said that the shooting will start on December 19. "All the places where the trio had filmed were sanitised following the protocols laid down by the state government. The crew stayed in isolation and now that the trio has been cleared, the team is set to resume shooting from December 19 in Chandigarh," the source told the daily.

According to the source, Neetu just has 4-5 days of shoot left while the rest of the cast will be working till December 30. The source added that the team, during the break, revised the schedule so that post-COVID fatigue doesn't take a toll. "During the quarantine period, they have devised a revised schedule and will be taking things easy on the set to ensure that the post-COVID fatigue does not take a toll," the source said. 

Apart from Neetu, Varun and Raj, Maniesh Paul, who will be seen in an important role, had also tested positive.
