Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Remo D'Souza was rushed to hospital on Friday after suffering cardiac problems, his family said. The filmmaker underwent surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital here and "is doing fine", confirmed a family friend.
Now, Remo has recovered and was discharged from the hospital. He took to his Instagram handle and posted a slo-mo video where he can be seen giving thumbs up while he is surrounded by colourful balloons. Sharing the video with his fans, he wrote, “Thank you all for the love , prayers and blessings I am back... thank you @gabrieldsouzaaa @__adonis____ and @edie_rockwood for the beautiful welcome back ... and thanks to all my friends.”
Soon after he posted the video, a lot of celebs dropped sweet comments and welcomed him back. Tiger Shroff wrote, “Time to come back stronger than ever”. Varun Dhawan dropped a heart emoji on his post. Shraddha Kapoor also commented, “Warrior Remo Sir .” Bobby Deol also dropped smiling and heart emojis on the post. Choreographer Terence Lewis wrote, “This made my day! So happy to see you safe home with your loved ones! Stay blessed n I'm coming to meet u as soon as I'm back in the bay! Love n positive healing vibes to u bro! ”
On the work front, Remo had transitioned from choreographer to filmmaking with F.A.L.T.U and later helmed ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013), ABCD 2 (2015) and Race 3 (2018). His last directorial was Street Dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.
