Veteran cinematographer Ishwar Bidri, passed away on Sunday due to multiple health issues. The 87-year-old is best remembered for films like Andaz Apna Apna and Border. The renowned cinematographer died at a hospital in Karnataka. Confirming the news, his son, Sanjeev Bidri, told a media agency that he suffered a cardiac arrest on December 20. He passed away on Sunday at 9.50 am.
"He suffered a cardiac arrest when we were at a marriage function in Belgaum, Karnataka on December 20. We immediately rushed him to KLES Hospital. He again suffered a cardiac arrest at the hospital and given his age, it led to multiple health issues. He passed away at 9.50 am," Sanjeev told.

Born in Karnataka's Banhatti, Bidri has films like Ghatak, Andaaz and many others. Known for his longstanding collaboration with JP Dutta, he shot action films like Yateem, Hathyar, Batwara and Border.
Bidri’s last rites took place on Sunday evening in Vijayapura, Karnataka.
