Speaking of The Song Of Scorpions, it is written and directed by Anup Singh. In the film which is a 'story of twisted love, revenge and the redemptive power of a song', Irrfan played the role of a camel trader. It also features Golshifteh Farahani, Waheeda Rehman and Shashank Arora. The film is about Nooran, an independent tribal woman learning the ancient healing art of scorpion-singing from her grandmother Zubeidaa. According to a myth, one wouldn't die of scorpion bite if a scorpion-singer sings her song and cures you.
