Parineeti Chopra is awaiting the release of three films for which she shot in 2019-2020. Due to the pandemic, her films have been delayed and the actress made it clear that none of them will premiere on any digital platform. One of the films is The Girl On The Train's Hindi remake. While the film's fresh release date is to be issued, Parineeti has reportedly collaborated with the director Ribhu Dasgupta once again. 

According to a media agency's report, Parineeti will be seen in an action-thriller directed by Ribhu. She is said to play a covert agent. "It is not (set in) an India-Pakistan backdrop. The film has Parineeti as a covert agent, she is leading the operation. The film is also about her personal journey and her revenge," a source close to the film told the agency.

According to a source, the yet-to-be-titled film also stars Rajit Kapur, Kay Kay Menon, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Harrdy Sandhu. The film is said to go on floors in March and will be produced by Reliance Entertainment.
