Yami Gautam has a busy 2021. The actress, who was last seen in Netflix's Ginny Weds Sunny, is currently shooting for Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. She has films like A Thursday and Dasvi in the lineup. Now, as she continues to win hearts with her work, Yami has bagged the lead role in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's upcoming film.
Aniruddha, who directed 2016's Pink which won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues, is helming a project that revolves around media in current time and crime journalism. The yet-to-be-announced film is said to go on floors by mid-2021.
