Katrina Kaif is currently one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. Not just films, but the star is making headlines for her own beauty brand named Kay By Katrina. Now, as Katrina is awaiting the release of Sooryavanshi, she seems to be on a film signing spree. According to an entertainment portal's report, the 37-year-old has been roped in to play the female lead in Sriram Raghavan's next.
As per the report, Katrina will be paired opposite South star Vijay Sethupathi. The yet-to-be-announced film will be helmed by Sriram who is an acclaimed Bollywood director with films like AndhaDhun, Badlapur, Johnny Gaddar and Ek Hasina Thi to his merit. Not much about the film has been revealed as of now.
PeepingMoon, exclusively on January 04, 2021, informed its readers that Sriram will be producing a web series based on the Kandahar hijacking by Pakistani terrorist group Harkat-ul-Mujaheddin in 1999. It will be directed by Saket Chaudhary, who helmed 2017's Hindi Medium.
Workwise, Katrina is currently busy with her upcoming film titled Phone Bhoot. It co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She is expected to begin shooting for Tiger 3 with Salman Khan soon.
