On January 11, 2019, Vicky Kaushal's career witnessed a sudden boost. The reason was the release of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The film turned out to be a massive hit at the box office and was well received by the critics and audience too. Today, as the film completed 2 years, Vicky unveiled the look of his upcoming project titled The Immortal Ashwatthama. The high-end visual spectacle reunites him with his Uri director Aditya Dhar.
Sharing two posters on Instagram, Vicky wrote, "Overwhelmed and ecstatic! According to reports, Sara Ali Khan will be featuring with Vicky in The Immortal Ashwatthama which is said to go on floors in April this year. The shoot locations will be India, Greece, New Zealand, Japan and Namibia. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
The Immortal Ashwatthama will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
