Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed a baby girl on Monday. PeepingMoon.com sources confirmed the actress delivered her baby girl in Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on January 11, 2021, at 3:49 pm. 

Virat soon confirmed the arrival of his little one as he posted a note on Instagram. With a heart emoticon, Virat wrote, "We are thrilled to share with you that we've been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat." Soon, the Indian Cricket Team Captain's post was filled with congratulatory messages.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Bhumi Pednekar posted Virat's note on their Instagram stories and congratulated the couple. 

Anushka and Virat had announced the actress's pregnancy back in August with an adorable post with the caption "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021". Now, Virushka, as fans lovingly call them, have become happy and proud parents to a girl child, whom they have named Anvi.
