PeepingMoon was the first one to inform its readers that Bollywood actor will be tying the knot with his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal on January 24 in Alibaug. This morning, Varun's uncle Anil Dhawan confirmed the news in a statement and said, "My nephew Varun is getting married on 24 January. I am looking forward to it."
However, Varun has still kept mum about it. Recently, when the actor headed out, the paparazzi asked him about his wedding that is going to take place this weekend and congratulated him. But VD changed the topic and started congratulating one of the photographer for his wedding.
In a video being shared online, when the paparazzi said ‘shaadi mubarak’ to Varun, he chose to sidestep the wish and said, “Kya bol raha hai? Teri shaadi ho gayi (What are you saying? Did you get married)?” When the photographers told him that they are talking about his wedding, Varun neglected it and said, “Teri ho gayi? Bachche bhi ho gaye (You got married? You have children too)? Congratulations!” He then addressed one paparazzo and asked, “Tu dobara shaadi kar raha hai (Are you getting married again)”
PeepingMoon had exclusively learned that the 'Hashtag VaruSha' wedding will be a five-day-long celebration. Starting on January 22, the festivities are expected to conclude on January 26 with a reception for Bollywood wallahs in Mumbai. Sources reveal that bride Natasha herself will design her wedding outfit. Natasha is a fashion designer who graduated in the US and returned to Mumbai to start her own label. Kunal Rawal will be designing Varun's outfit for the D-Day!
