Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan's Adipurush is all set to go on floors tomorrow that is February 2. The former will play the role of Ram and the latter will portray Lankesh in the Om Raut directorial. A day before the filming begins, rumour has it that Hema Malini is being considered for a key role.

According to reports, the makers of Adipurush are planning to approach the veteran Bollywood actress for the role of Prabhas' mother, Kaushalya. Hema was last seen in the film titled Shimla Mirchi which release in January 2020. It also featured Rakul Preet Singh and Rajkummar Rao.

According to reports, Kriti Sanon will play Sita and Angad Bedi will be seen as Saif's son, Meghnad. PeepingMoon exclusively informed readers on November 28, 2020, that Sunny Singh will play Laxman. 

Adipurush, based on a popular chapter of Indian mythology, will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The film celebrates the triumph of good over evil.  It will release on August 11, 2022.
