Pratik Gandhi gives a hilarious twist to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Union Budget 2021, courtesy ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’

All eyes were on Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she presented the Union Budget 2021 today in the Parliament. She said that the budget proposals for this financial year rest on six pillars- health and well-being, physical and financial capital and infrastructure, inclusive development for aspirational India, reinvigorating human capital, innovation and R&D, and 'Minimum Government, Maximum Governance'.

However, what came out as a strong point was the fact that she chose to push for disinvestment and privatization of several government undertakings. Giving a hilarious twist to the budget, Pratik Gandhi of the hit web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story shared a clip from the show where he speaks about liberalization being undertaken by the government and foreign companies being allowed to invest in the country.
