Prabhas will be teaming up with Saif Ali Khan for the first time in Om Raut's upcoming film, Adipurush. The magnum opus mythological drama is one of the highly anticipated projects that will hit the silver screen in 2022. Prabhas will play Ram in the Adipurush and Saif has been cast as Lankesh. Today, Adipurush will go on floors.
Adipurush will go on floors in Mumbai today after a mahurat pooja. Sharing the news, Prabhas on his Instagram, wrote, "#Adipurush aarambh." On January 19, the motion capture of the film began since high-end visuals effects with real-time technology will be used in creating the world of Adipurush.

Adipurush, based on a popular chapter of Indian mythology, will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The film celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It will release in 3D on August 11, 2022.
