Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone gave it back to a hater on the Internet who abused her, by naming and shaming him on social media. The actress called out one of the trolls who repeatedly sent her abuses through direct messaging on her Instagram account.

"Wow! Your family and friends must be soo proud of you," the actor wrote mockingly over a screenshot of the messages followed by a slow claps GIF and shared it on her Instagram Stories. However, Deepika soon deleted the story.

Deepika has always been vocal about mental health and internet trolling. The actress had recently said, "I think the conversation has opened up (on mental health). I don't think there's as much stigma as there used to be four years ago. But we certainly have a long way to go in terms of creating more awareness. I think that's where we need to keep the conversation alive."

On the work front, Deepika has an interesting line up of films in her kitty. She is currently shooting for Shakun Batra’s next with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. She also has Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. She will be next seen in ’83 with her husband Ranveer Singh. Apart from these films, Deepika will also be pairing up with Prabhas for Nag Ashwin’s next and Hrithik Roshan for Fighter.
