Jaya Bachchan (née Bhaduri) is one of the finest actresses in Bollywood. The veteran actress has had a legacy of her own and aspiring actors look at her as their inspiration. Mrs. Bachchan has been juggling between politics and spending quality time with her family. Now, as per reports, she is all set to return to acting after almost 7 years.
The veteran actress and Rajya Sabha MP is reportedly in talks with Gajendra Ahire for his upcoming directorial. Gajendra is known for his Marathi-language films. As per reports, Mrs. Bachchan is said to be quite keen on being a part of the film which will be her first Marathi project if she signs it. An official announcement is yet to be made.
In 2020, Amitabh Bachchan made his Marathi debut in Milind Mane’s AB Aani CD. Mrs. Bachchan was last seen in a brief role in Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Ki & Ka in 2016.
Gajendra, who directed the National award-winning film, Shevri (2006) and Not Only Mrs. Raut (2003) is reportedly hoping to start shooting with Mrs. Bachchan soon.
