John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi have teamed up to tell a thrilling and action-packed tale of how Bombay became Mumbai. The film titled Mumbai Saga is directed by Sanjay Gupta and highlights crucial events that took place between the 1980s and 1990s. The gangster drama will release in theatres on March 19, 2021, and the makers are hopeful it will draw the audience to cinema halls amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, the teaser of Mumbai Saga was released on social media. It takes us back to the time when Mumbai was still Bombay. John plays the role of a local gangster who wanted to rule Bombay by soaking the streets in blood. His nemesis is Emraan, a cop. Mumbai Saga also features Suniel Shetty, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte, Prateik Babbar and Kajal Aggarwal.
