The makers of John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi starrer Mumbai Saga released its trailer this afternoon. The Sanjay Gupta directorial film boasts of an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Gulshan Grover, and Prateik Babbar.
In the Mumbai Saga trailer, John Abraham’s character Amartya Rao is out on the streets with the motive to rule the city. But it is not all easy for him with Emraan Hashmi’s cop dogging his every step. Before releasing the trailer, John had shared his character poster on Instagram where he described the film as, “The one who wants to RULE at all costs Vs The one who wants to STOP him, no matter what #MumbaiSaga begins in cinemas on 19th March.”
Set in the 1980s and 1990s, Mumbai Saga also stars Kajal Agarwal, Jackie Shroff, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, and Amole Gupte. The film is being helmed by Sanjay Gupta, who has previously directed films like Kaabil, Shootout at Wadala and Kaante.
Earlier scheduled to hit theatres on June 19, 2020, Mumbai Saga has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta, and Sangeeta Ahir. The highly-anticipated gangster drama is now set to hit the big screens on March 19 this year.
