Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor are teaming up for the first time for their upcoming project. Titled Animal, the thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra. The film was announced on January 1, 2021, with an intriguing teaser. Now, the makers have locked Dussehra 2022 for the theatrical release of Animal.

The teaser of Animal indicates that the film will be a chilling father-son story. This is Sandeep's second Hindi-language film after Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh (2019). Produced by T-series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Murad Khetani’s Cine1Studios, Animal will go on floors by mid-2021. As per reports, Tripti Dimri is in talks to play the lead actress along with Parineeti.
