Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma's Roohi is Bollywood's first big-budget film to release in theatres amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The horror-comedy will release on March 11, 2021. Ahead of the release, producer Dinesh Vijan organised a special preview for Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and the entire team of the upcoming film, Bhediya. Varun and Kriti will be leading Bhediya which is the third part of producer Dinesh’s horror-comedy franchise which started with Shraddha Kapoor- Rajkummar's Stree in 2018. Roohi is the second installment.
Sharing a video from a cinema hall, Varun wrote, "Back in the theatre after over a year. Feels gooooooooood!!!! With my bhediya crew." Kriti said, "The Wolfpack is here watching #Roohi in the theatre! The feeling of watching a film in a theatre after over a year— just cant put in words So happy to be here with my #Bhediya crew!"
After watching Roohi, Kriti showered love on the team and said, "Watched #Roohi in a theatre yesterday!Super entertaining. Roohi is directed by Hardik Mehta. It is presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan. It is produced by Dinesh under his banner A Maddock Films along with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
